FAMILY FOUNDATIONS

Relational Recalibration for Families

Restoring safety, connection, and emotional balance within the family system.

A guided, embodied process for families navigating emotional overwhelm, behavioural challenges, or disconnection — supporting both parent and child to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and how to move through it together.

IF YOU'RE HERE,
YOUR FAMILY MIGHT BE...

• Experiencing frequent conflict, tension, or emotional overwhelm
• Struggling to understand your child’s behaviour or needs
• Feeling disconnected, frustrated, or unsure how to respond
• Navigating anxiety, shutdown, or big emotional reactions
• Moving through change, separation, or family transitions
• Supporting a neurodivergent or highly sensitive child
• Feeling like you’ve tried everything, but something still isn’t shifting

This is not about fixing your child, or your family system.

It’s about understanding the relationships between yo.

Because what’s happening in your family isn’t random —
it’s a pattern within a system that can be seen, understood, and shifted.

WHY THIS HAPPENS

Families function as emotional systems.

When one part of the system is overwhelmed, dysregulated, or unsupported — it impacts everything and everyone.

What shows up as:

• behaviour
• conflict
• emotional outbursts
• shutdown or disconnection

…is often a nervous system response, not a conscious choice.

Without the right tools or understanding, families can become stuck in repeating cycles — reacting, repairing, and repeating again.

WHAT IS FAMILY FOUNDATIONS

Family Foundations is a guided space where parent/guardian and child/ren come together to:

• understand what’s happening beneath behaviour
• learn how to regulate individually and together
• shift patterns of reaction into patterns of connection
• rebuild trust, safety, and communication

This is not therapy.
It is not advice or behaviour management.

It is relational work —
supporting the emotional connection between you and your child/ren to recalibrate, so the entire system begins to shift.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE

A calm, supported space where nothing is judged or rushed.

Where you are not told what to do —
but guided to understand what is already happening, and how to move through it differently.

Sessions are relational, practical, and embodied —
blending conversation, creative exploration, and nervous system awareness.

This is where insight becomes change — not just awareness.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE

Sessions may involve:

• parent and child together
• individual time with parent or child
• whole-family sessions
• a mix of conversation, observation, and guided interaction

We work in real time with what is present —
how your family communicates, responds, and relates.

Sessions may include:

• understanding behaviour beneath the surface
• guided co-regulation practices
• shifting patterns as they arise
• creative or embodied exercises
• practical tools for home integration

WHAT CHANGES

As the family system begins to regulate and reconnect:

Children begin to:

• feel safer and more understood

• express emotions more clearly

• reduce reactive behaviours

• build confidence and emotional security

Parents begin to:

• respond with more clarity and calm

• understand behaviour at its root

• feel more confident in how to support their child

• experience less conflict and more connection

The home environment begins to shift — from tension and confusion →to safety, rhythm, and trust.

HOW DOES FAMILY FOUNDATIONS WORK

FAMILY FEEDBACK

“Absolutely life changing for our family. Our child is calmer, more confident, and we finally feel like we understand what’s going on and how to support them. The energy in our home has completely shifted.”

3 SESSION FOUNDATION

$450 NZD  (Required Entry)

Phase One: Clarity and Stabilisation

This foundational phase allows us to understand what’s happening within your family system and begin restoring a sense of safety and clarity.

Across three 90 minute sessions, we:

• Map family dynamics and relational patterns
• Identify emotional triggers, responses, and recurring cycles
• Understand behaviour through the lens of the nervous system
• Introduce tools for co-regulation and emotional safety
• Begin shifting how parent and child relate to one another

This phase creates the foundation for change.

For many families, this alone brings significant insight, relief, and a noticeable shift in the home environment.

From here, you may choose to continue into further support depending on your family’s needs.

6 SESSION DEEPENING

$870 NZD  (save $30)

Phase Two: Integration and Repatterning

Recommended for families navigating more complex or deeply embedded patterns.

This phase moves beyond awareness into consistent, embodied change.

Across six 90 minute sessions, we:

• Interrupt reactive cycles in real time
• Strengthen co-regulation between parent and child
• Rework long-standing behavioural and emotional patterns
• Build new relational dynamics grounded in safety and trust
• Support the family in responding differently under stress
• Integrate tools into everyday home life

This is where repetition creates lasting change.

The family system begins to stabilise, and new patterns become the norm — not the exception.

ONGOING INTEGRATION

$160 NZD (After Foundation)

Available after completion of a foundation or deepening phase.

$160 per session

Sessions may be scheduled:

• weekly
• fortnightly
• every 3 weeks

These sessions support continued growth, maintenance, and navigation of new challenges as they arise.
