Remember the times before Netflix when AD Breaks were just enough time to run to the fridge and grab a snack before the programming continued? Few things in life compare to that satisfying “just enough” feeling.
In the spirit of nostalgic races to the fridge, Unusual Programming brings you “Just Enough”. It’s all you need, nothing more, nothing less.
Unusual Programming will operate on a preorder basis to ensure we deliver “Just Enough” for you, the consumer. Producing garments costs the earth and by pre-ordering and supporting our “Just Enough” model you can help us to ensure nothing is wasted.
However, don’t forget - AD breaks were “Just Enough” but you had to be quick to get to that fridge and back! You were mentally pre-planning that snack before the ADs hit and off the couch within seconds. Designed and made here in Aotearoa, Unusual Programming only has capacity for a small production run so plan ahead and don’t waste a moment, otherwise you might miss the best stuff!

Custom orders are for our specialized limited style pieces. This means choose carefully as there may only be enough fabric to make 4-8 styles.
Once ordering a custom - Pera will be in contact to ensure the garment specifications are correct for your fit.
Pre-order ensures less waste and secures you a piece from our limited collections. Once they’re sold out, they are sold out! We will endeavour to keep you updated on time lines throughout the making process.

Payment is taken in full either in-store or online, this can be done online using LAYBUY also.
PERA MAY agrees to holding the payment securely until goods are received and you are happy with your purchase.
HOW DO I DECIDE ON SIZING FOR MY PRE-ORDER?

We encourage you to come in, meet us and have some fun!
For styles that we don’t have a sample of in your size to initially try we will measure you and work within our size chart to establish the correct fit for your pre order.

It can be scary, we know...until you get to know the brand and your fit, it’s not always easy to get it correct, especially because every brand uses different measurements. Don’t let that deter you however - we are here to help!!!

HOW LONG WILL MY GARMENT TAKE TO BE MADE?
Please allow 1 day for processing any online or showroom orders.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5. All orders will be processed during these hours.
You will then be advised of the turnaround time. In our shop section each garment has an approximate due date. We also endeavour to give you updates on the status of your garment where-ever possible. It’s important to remember these times are estimates, sometimes there are obstacles that occur outside of our control. We appreciate your patience whilst we experiment with new territories.
This is awesome, you are supporting slow, sustainable, and original fashion craft - how impressive! Helping to improve a system that has malfunctioned, we thank you for this support as will the planet!
SHIPPING OR PICK UP
You will be advised when the order is complete and ready for pick up from our Parnell Showroom or you will receive a confirmation email with shipping tracking if NZ based delivery will be 2-3 working days.
Outside of NZ shipping you can expect within 10-14 business days after confirmation that the garment is made and paid for. Your Country's rules and regulations regarding customs duties will determine any further charges which aren't covered by PERA MAY.
As we carefully make “just enough” for you, we do ask that you think carefully about your purchases and take advantage of our sizing advice. However, we get that it is not a perfect science and returns may be required sometimes. If you aren’t happy with an online order you may return that to us within 14 days. Returns will not be accepted after 14 days. Additionally, we will not offer returns for a change of mind.
We will only accept returns if the garments are received with tags on and are in the condition that they arrived to you in.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will contact you to let you know if the return has been accepted. Your refund will then be processed and credit applied back to your payment method. Timing will vary depending on your bank provider.
